My beautiful daughter gifted me this beauty, she knows how much I love the color green, not only because of its majestic tones but it also happens to be my birthstone color... Emerald. I received so many amazing gifts this Christmas and I'm extremely grateful for each and every one. Soon we will be leaving 2018 behind and entering into a brand new year full of blessings and new adventures. Let's prepare for 2019 by letting go of all things negative and stressful right now. The most wonderful time of year has arrived, yes it's the Holiday season and the signs are beginning to show up everywhere. The department stores are playing Christmas music, the grocery stores are lining the shelves Christmas candy, cookies and holiday recipes and everyone is beginning to share smiles and good cheer, what a beautiful time of year. It's all so exciting and inspiring but what if we carried this spirit, this love, this kindheartedness all year round, how amazing and awe inspiring would that be. Peace on earth shouldn't just be exercised during the holidays but it should be shared daily year round....now wouldn't that be miraculous.

Fall means color

Yes, with the ever changing colors of Fall comes my favorite time of year... The dark lippie. I love a dark lipstick it just says bold and confident of which I am both. I got this beautiful lippie from Urban Decay and it is absolutely gorGeous, yes I said gorGeous, lol. This is one of my favorites for the Fall season and I just love the name Blackmail, yes that's right Blackmail. Hilarious right? 😁 But despite its name it is a must have. This is the perfect comfort matte lippie, meaning it's matte but not drying and it actually feels creamy and smooth going on. So if your looking for a great dark lippie at a great price, yes I believe I paid $18 dollars for this treasure and it is absolutely worth it. Visit Sephora and look for Urban Decay products... Spa day 

Ooh-la la I'm at the Spa and it is Ah-mazing! I know it's been a while since I last posted but life takes you in many unexpected directions but God always brings you back. So, my beautiful sister booked us a Spa day and it was much needed and well worth the time. We went to The Woodhouse Day Spa in Williamsville NY and it was sooooo beautiful, so peaceful and the staff was super nice. My masseuse was all that, I mean girlfriend got out all my knots and tension without breaking me in two, lol...from the awesomely ladylike changing room to the warm and cozy "Quiet" room, this place is definite go to for all. I'm so grateful to my sister for this experience... We will be back and y'all better get there, now... Like right now😁... Smooches😘
Oh yeah, did I mention how soft the robes are and the aromatherapy that just flows throughout the entire building from the moment you walk through the doors🌷... Ok, I think I'm done, you can book your appointment now and tell them Lola sent you and don't forget to get the green tea... It's perfection!

Today is going to be filled with day after Mothers day shopping and a mani pedi courtesy of my wonderful family. My mother's day was simply phenomenal, a great time at church, dinner with my mom and fun times with my hilarious family...yes my family will have you laughing til your stomach hurts *especially my dad, lol. Springtime 

Oh yes, the signs of Spring are everywhere and it's a wonderful thing. One of the many signs of the season are the beautiful flowers and colorful butterflies, ironically one just fluttered right past my face and it wasn't so cute, lol. I love my city in Spring, it's so full of greenery and floral scenery, I will be posting some of my favorite hometown places soon. One of which is the Burchfield Penney Art Center, the grounds and architecture around the center are simply gorgeous. There's nothing like showing love for your hometown, afterall it is a part of who you are.

Yes, I know we're just really getting into Spring but this weather definitely has Summer on my mind. This off the shoulder Jumpsuit has me feeling fun in the sun Summer vibes.
