The gift that keeps on giving 

Happy last Friday of the year my friends, it's time for some weekend fun. Christmas was just a few short days ago but I have to share with you one of my absolute favorite gifts. I received so many amazing gifts for Christmas but this is one of the most touching and valuable, valuable in the sense that it holds meaning in my heart. Of course you know that my blog name is "Lolas Fab Life", well I was quite surprised and overwhelmed when I received this glass block lamp that is personalized with my blog name complete with a beautiful ribbon bow and beautiful interior lights, it is awesome. When I unwrapped it and took it out the box my heart was so full of joy, to you it may just be a cute lamp but to me it's much more than that. When I decided to start a blog, my sister helped me every step of the way, not only did she help me start it but anytime she's out of town with her work travels she sends me the most amazing pictures of the most exquisite clothes, food and beauty finds (she knows me so well😄) yes my friends, my sister is all that and if you hadn't guessed it already she bought me this beautiful lamp. I'm just so excited about my new gift, everytime I look at it I'm reminded of my purpose, not just to blog and share fashion finds but to touch everyone within my reach whether it be through social media or giving a friend a hug in time of need, I just want to share my fab life with everyone, just as Jesus did. And yes, I do have a Fab Life because everyday with Jesus makes my life simply Fabulous💕. I want to say a huge thank you to my awesomely marvelous sister, you have always been such an inspiration to me, a mentor, a comedian and my first and forever best friend... Love you like cupcakes😙😙😙

It's the most wonderful time of the year, it's Christmas time y'all. I hope everyone is full of joy and happiness this season and all year round. Remember that kindness is not a seasonal thing... It's needed all year long. Wishing everyone an amazing Holiday season, Be grateful, Be thankful and eat great food😁... Smooches😚

Winter must haves 

Yes indeed Winter is here and so is that cold skin chapping air. Winter can be so bad on our skin so we must be proactive when it comes to self care during these cold wintry months. The cold blustering air can dry out our hair, skin and lips so here are a few items I use to stay moisturized in winter. These exfoliating gloves and face brush are great for removing rough and dry skin, use while in the shower and watch how awesome your skin feels when you get out. We know that moisturizer is a must have for our skin after our shower these items are awesome for keeping moisture in. First coconut oil a natural dry skin remedy great for all over body care, next I use African Shea Butter which is great for knees, feet and elbows. And my new favorite thing is this Red Fox tub of butter moisturizing cream, this stuff is amazing for ashy and dry skin. Last but definitely not least is this strawberry Carmex great for winter dry lips, this holy grail product is a must for the cold days of Winter and I absolutely love it, it makes your lips kissably soft😄. OK,ok, I'll be the first to admit that gift shopping is a hard task for me, why? it's quite simple really, everything looks so fabulous. I have every intention of going out buying gifts for my family and friends and coming back home and wrapping them up but somehow I always end up with a "Bonus" gift. That gift that you get just in case an extra guest shows up at Christmas and you don't want them to leave empty handed...  but what happens if there is no extra guest, you get to keep the gift for yourself. So I'm really not getting it for me, I'm getting it as a "Just in case", I'm looking out for others (so selfless of me right😄). I know I'm not the only one who has a Holiday shopping problem but at least I have the intention of gifting my treasures away, such a beautiful thing. Almost done with my Holiday shopping and I couldn't be happier. Of course there are a few more gifts to grab but it's cool... Tis the Season. Truly Blessed 

Yes, even with this scratchy throat and sluggish feeling I am Thankful and Blessed. This is the time of year when the weather is up and down so we must take care of ourselves. I woke up feeling a little under the weather today so I made myself a cup of tea and got ready for the day. I know my blog post have been little short lately but their about to get interesting. Happy Monday my friends... It's going to be a Chic style kind of day. Meetings, errands and so much more so I'll just do a little black dress, a tall pair of boots and these oh so chic accessories. Happy December everyone, it seems like we just brought in 2017 and we're already entering the last month of the year. I've accomplished so much this year and God has been so good to me and mines, it's truly been a blessed year. Me time

Taking a break today for some much needed me time. It's a Mani Pedi and face mask kinda day, the kind of day for meditation and relaxation. My Treat 

Sometimes you just need to treat yourself! Today was a bit crazy but I didn't let it get the best of me, nope not your girl. I've been fighting a cold all week *hence the shorter blog post (sorry guys, I'll do better) it's just a part of the changing seasons so it is what it is😊. I've also been writing out my Christmas list and trying to actually check some things off each day which means I actually have to go out and shop. Don't get me wrong I lovvvvveeee to shop, especially for others, the part that becomes challenging is trying to get each person a great gift while not breaking the bank and I gladly accept the challenge. There are so many retailers that offer gifts "unders" which is perfect for people like me😁. They'll have $50 dollars and under gifts, $20 and under and so on so finding a nice gift in your price range becomes a little easier. Now I get to chill out with this yummy milkshake and start all over tomorrow, awesome right, lol. Smooches my friends😘, see you tomorrow💕

Chill and Relax 

Oh yes, it's been a long day of errands and Christmas shopping. I love this time of year, the lights, the decorations and of course the sales. I was cruising the mall today on my quest for Christmas presents and now I'm ready for the tv remote and some yummy snacks. I hope you're day was filled with great things. Yes my friends I love face masks, that fresh smell when you open the package, that cooling sensation as you put it on your face, the feeling of a fresh face as you peel it off, oh yeah face mask are everything. I found these lovelies at Pink by Victorias Secret and they are awesome. After a long day you just wanna get home and relax and unwind with your favorite snack, the TV remote and a great face mask as you're watching your favorite tv show and this indeed is my plan for the evening. I think the change of weather has me feeling a bit sluggish so I'm going to put on my face mask, grab my cup of tea and relax. Sometimes you just need a day off, a time to do absolutely nothing but chill and relax. We get so busy with our day to day lives that we sometimes forget to take out just a little time to rest our bodies and our minds. It's so important that we give ourselves a much needed break, time to pamper ourselves, meditate, pray and do whatever  else it takes to get back on track to a healthy and happy lifestyle. Our daily routines shouldn't be so routine, we must break up the monotony and do things a little different at times so I that our lives can be a bit less stressful. It's all about living our best lives and being as stress free as possible. God has equipped us with everything need to live good lives but we can't forget to take time out for ourselves...and for Him as well, so today I'm going to do just that... Chill and Relax... And be grateful😊

Don't you just love this shirt...I get so excited this time of year. I love Holiday time, shopping, decorations, food but most  important... Family. I actually started my Christmas shopping today and I had to grab this shirt for Holiday time. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. I'm actually picking up a few gifts as I blog... I love getting gifts for people. No matter if it's a cozy pair of socks or a gift card from your favorite restaurant, it's always the thought that counts and it's really special when someone takes the time out to think enough of someone else to buy them a gift. How cool is this shirt... Or should I say how true is this shirt. I'm in love with graphic tees, they're so funky and cool. A graphic tee can truly describe the persons personality who is wearing it. From Sassy to classy and spunky to spicy I love them all. For a cool casual look with a great pair of jeans or a Sophisticated look with a blazer and a skirt this is an amazing style choice. Heyyyy weekend 

It's the weeeeekend baby! Oh yes, it's Friday and it is simply gorgeous outside. Although the calendar says Autumn the temperature definitely says Summer, crazy right. Normally I would have on my jacket and boots (see yesterday post😁) but it's too nice of a day for that. You would think that I would be ready to relax and chill but no thanks, this weekend is going to be lit (did I really just say lit 😄). There are so many awesome things happening in my city this and every weekend and sometimes you just have to get out and get into it. Should I dress up and go see a Stage Play or go hang out with friends at one of the many events happening this weekend?... Decisions, decisions. Stay Fit 

The picture says it all, I gotta stay fit so today is workout day. I'm going to the gym and then to the market to grab some fresh fruit and vegetables. I know our days are busy and full of errands but we must remember to take care of ourselves and that includes a good exercise regimen. Happy Monday my friends... It's going to be a marvelous week. I have so many great things planned this week but first I'm going to give myself a shout out, hey Beautiful😘. Yes, sometimes we have to remind  ourselves just how Amazing we are, not with a cocky tone but with God like love. Oftentimes we're too hard on ourselves for whatever reason, so we must combat that negative thinking with some positive love. We must remind ourselves that we are capable, we are loved and we are blessed. There are so many other things and people in the world to try and break us so we must know that without a shadow of a doubt that with God, we are unbreakable. We are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of the Almighty God and that makes us undeniably awesome. Loving one another is marvelous but self love is the best Love😘...
