Take some time for yourself 

Yes, today I am taking the day off, hooray! Sometimes you need to take a little time for yourself and chillax. I know it's a bit difficult to pamper yourself but believe me  you're worth it. Time to do whatever it is that I'm going to be doing on this not so busy day. 💞

Accessories make the difference 

This Fall it's all about accessories and I couldn't be happier. I love accessories, they're like the icing on a great cake, they are indeed the best part. Hats, scarves, necklaces, shoes...accessories make the difference. With Fall right around the corner, I'm looking forward to the seasons Fashion trends and accessories are always a big hit. If you need an outfit update, just add some cool accessories  to make your outfit complete. Happy accessorizing😊

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Houston and all other areas affected by Hurricane Harvey. The devastion is truly heartbreaking, praying for you all.

Fall is in the air 

So as I'm getting dressed this morning, I notice a slight airiness, could that be Fall knocking on Summers door🍃😄. I've gotten so use to throwing on simple outfits *complete with sandals and sunnies, lol*, Now it seems that I'm going to have to insert a sweater or jacket with my daily ensemble. I'm not saying to put on your fur coat and ugh boots but you definitely should have a cardigan or light jacket to toss on if need be. Let's not get it twisted, I'm all for Fall... especially the fashion but not quite yet, let's enjoy these last few sunny weeks of Summer. Autumn is right over the Horizon and I'm ready for all that it brings. The vintage Plaid purse and ascot I'm sporting in this picture gives a slight glimpse of Autumns beauty...and what a Beautiful Autumn it shall be🌺

Just Kicking it

Toss on those sneakers... It's Friday lovelies. With Summer winding down our weekends are a marvelous treasure. The work week is done and so are those 9-5 Office fashions, it's time to get comfortable my friends. This weekend is all about comfort and convenience, a cute pair of jeans, a tee and a cool pair of sneakers, I'm just gonna chill. This darling pair of sneakers I'm wearing in the picture are an Aldo pick. I love Aldo shoes because of  their uniqueness and charm and the prices aren't bad either 😁. City Girl

City girl in a Bloggers world. I see so many Bloggers and Influencers shout out there cities, so its about time I show mine some love. I am a proud Buffalonian, yes I am from Buffalo Ny born and raised (on the playground is where I spent most of my days😂) . Oftentimes when you hear of Buffalo you hear a bit about our snow, well let me be the first to tell you that there is so much more to my city than that. Yes we get a little snow but not nearly as much as they claim. Our Winters are gorgeous but so are our Springs, Summers and Falls. There are so many wonderful things I'd like to share about the city I love but the best and most favorite is our food, I'm sorry but no matter where you're from your food can't come close to ours... We are the best and the proof is on the Web. From our famous Buffalo wings, to our Beef on Weck, to our Pizza, Seafood, Sushi, Doughnuts, you name it we've got it. I adore my city, the people, the culture, the fashion.... Everything. There are so many Marvelous historic buildings and sights in our city and we are so close to Niagara Falls we could ride our bikes and be there. Can you tell I have city love?. Denim doll

OK, OK I'll be the first to admit... Im  addicted to denim. I am the self proclaimed Denim doll, yes if I could I would wear it everyday. Denim is completely versatile and so comfy and chic, from distressed to ripped to high waisted and flare... Denim rocks! The look I'm sporting in this picture is so comfy cute so I had to toss on a pair of heels to give it some edge. That's what's so cool about denim, you can not wrong. Later on when I'm on my way to the marina I'll simply take off my heels and slip on my sandals. I'm completely on denim overload. From Winter to Spring, Summer to Fall... Summers Beauty

Flowers, pool parties, ice cream runs and fun, it's all about Summer. With Fall right around the corner let's rev up our Summer fun. I went to an open veggie garden today and it was awesome, fresh veggies that you could actually pick and take home, yummy. When you think of Summer goodies veggies aren't the first thing to come to mind but I had an amazing time. Afterwards I got to see Shakespeare in the Park. This is where Shakespearean plays are acted out in an outdoor theater which is on an open lawn, awesome. I tried to fit as much in today because of the changing season, I'm taking full advantage of the Sunshine. On days like this it's best to throw on something casual and comfy so you can fully enjoy the day. I hope all of my blog friends are having a marvelous summer... Get out and enjoy🌷

Sassy Chic

Yes, it's that time of year when those Summer days start to become just a little bit cooler but don't fret we still have time before that Autumn air arrives. With the warm weather sticking around for a bit Summer fashion is in full swing. Today I decided to add a little Sassy Chic to my look with these open slit rust colored pants from Boohoo clothing, perfect for the Summer into Fall season. My top, which I found in the same exact color at Rainbow Shoppes (beauty on a budget, how cool is that) was the icing on my "Ootd" cake.  I adore this look so much, the color says Autumn but those slits scream Summer, the perfect style combination😙. I will be posting my "How to look great on a budget" tips soon and you don't want to miss out. It's cool to have a Designer bag but you don't want the wallet inside to be empty... No what I'm sayin'😄

Summer vibes 

• Happy weekend everyone... It's Friday and that means the weekend has arrived. These summer days are going by so quickly, soon we'll feel the brisk winds of Fall... Yippee, I love Autumn, I love the falling leaves and all the changes the new season brings. Autumn may be quickly approaching but it's still Summer and we'll take every opportunity to get out and enjoy the Sunshine.  Beside the Still waters 

There is nothing like the peaceful relaxation of being by the water. The quiet calmness of the water is so beautifully amazing. It's so ironic how such a powerful force can be so humble and still yet in a moments time can be intrusive and overpowering. It is with magnificent respect that we sit and take in all its glory and majesty. The sound of the waves hitting against the rocks and the ripples of the water as they come to shore are awe inspiring. This is just one of the warm Summers privileges, along with ice cream and vacations😊. Enjoy this wonder of Summer, take a Cruise, walk on the beach or simply sit by the water and take it all in☺ Happy summer my friends❤

Staycation vibes

Oh yes, it's time for a mini vacation or should I say "Staycation". Sometimes a little get away is just what you need. Staying at an awesome hotel and I'm going to have a great time. With Summer slowly passing us by we must take complete advantage of these gorgeous Summer days. I'm heading out to lunch and then it's off to start my mini vacay. Time for me to head out, hope you're having an awesome Summer.

Good days, Bad days

Today was a good day... So first my glasses got caught in my shirt and broke and then they got my coffee order wrong but hey at least my dress was cute😁. You're gonna have good days and you're gonna have bad days but no matter the day you must keep Shining. I could've fell into a funk after my not so amazing morning but I didn't. I grabbed a different pair of sunnies and not only did they remake my coffee and got it perfect they even gave me a muffin for the inconvenience (like I really needed a muffin but I enjoyed every crumb of it🍮😋). We have a choice to either change the negatives or lower our heads and sulk in them. Let's be real most times its not our entire day that has gone bad, it's one moment of that day that we allow to take over our entire day. Don't allow one mishap or mistake to totally ruin your day. We are beautifully and wonderfully made and we must act as such. Decide first thing in the morning that "Today is going to be a great day"  and then go forth in it. Be kind, be nice and always try to brighten someone else's day😊... Even if you don't feel like it 😂😂😂

Summer Chic

Summer Party... Yes friends I am going to yet another Summer party. I decided to go with a simple chic look with a touch of Louis Vuitton. A cute summer dress and a nice handbag is the perfect look for a Summer get together, especially when the invite says "Summer Chic". If it were up to me I would've worn a cool pair of jeans and a nice blouse, hey I'm all about comfy fashion. This outfit was the next best thing, it's casual with a touch of sassy flair, just right for a summer get together. When you want to dress up but don't want to feel constricted or uncomfortable go for a comfy  dress and for that extra bit of sophistication grab a great handbag and strut like Naomi Campbell....OK, I've gotta run, time for my strut... Hats off to the weekend 

Well here we are at the end of another fabulous week and I'm ready for the weekend chillax. A little shopping, a Saturday concert and Sunday church and family dinner. I look forward to the weekends, they're always filled with good times. Tonight is movie night, going to sit back grab some popcorn and chillax. Summer Parties

Food, Music and Fun in the sun... It's a Summer Yacht party y'all. Oh yes, it's summer and the parties are in full effect. Backyard parties, Family barbecues and my favorite, the oh so cool Yacht party. A Cruise around the city with good music, fun people and great ambiance, It's such an amazing thing. I tossed on a comfy summer dress and some heels along with my Louis bag and headed out to the water. There's nothing like a good summer party and I take total and complete advantage of the season. There's so much to do during these brief summer days, make sure you get out and experience all the wonder of Summer. See you after the party...smooches😜

Looking for direction

OK guys, I must admit that this Blogging thing is a bit difficult at times. Finding the right venues for photo ops, the right outfits and of course the right words, aye carumba (I said that because a true lady never swears😄) but I must say, I truly love being a blogger. I'm still learning new things everyday but in life you must learn and grow. I'm so excited to share my blog and my adventures with you all. Every picture, every destination, every outfit choice is very important to me. I'm so passionate about being a blogger. I love sharing cool and fun things with my blog friends, when I'm out to lunch or running errands I want to include my experiences on my blog. I never knew just how much a blog entailed, it's much more than pretty pictures, it's my thoughts, my opinions, my personal style and my comedic nature (hey,  I think I'm funny😁). To be honest, sometimes I have no idea what to blog about but I know if I stay true to myself no matter what it is it'll be just right. I'm so happy for all the people who take the time to check me out, I happen to think I'm pretty awesome... Staycation  vibes

A little extended Staycation and a whole lotta fun. This weekend I had the pleasure of enjoying this beautiful view at a local luxury hotel. The Curtiss hotel has many amazing emenities but the views and decor are Marvelous. This is just one of the many gorgeous sights you'll encounter here at this stunning hotel. Lazy days

Happy Friday my friends and hello weekend. This Friday is going to start my chill and relax weekend. I'm going to have a facial, a massage, a little R&R and just chill. Sometimes we have to decompress from the week and give ourselves a jumpstart for the week to come. A little relaxation, a cup of tea and movie night at home with the family, I couldn't ask for more... Except some great food to go along with great times. A cup of tea, a good book and a great space... Here's to quiet time. We all need a little peace and quiet sometimes. A time to relax, unwind and refresh. I love a cool and peaceful wind down space. A comfy couch, a plush chair and quietness. Whether it's first thing in the morning or a nighttime retreat, quiet time is essential for a healthy and happy life. Our days are filled with routines, errands and daily business, it is a must that we fit in a little quiet time. Make sure that when you're planning your day that you fit in a bit of quietness, a little "Shhh" time, a little "Me" time. That special time during the day that you set aside just for you and your thoughts and feelings. You deserve it💕💕💕

 Makeup Love💖

• So I went to a few makeup stores to see what selection of cool new makeup goodies they had and I was pleasantly surprised. From mascara to highlighter, lipstick to foundation there were so many cool and different things to choose and try and boy did I have fun trying them . Ulta beauty, Sephora, Mac and more all have an amazing makeup selection,... hey,  it's always a great time to try new things and new looks. I stopped by the bronzer and highlighter and had fun playing in the makeup. It's always a great day for a cool makeup try. After you try on your favourites, make sure you spritz on some makeup setting spray like the one I'm  trying in the picture, you don't want to put on the perfect face to simply have to reapply your "look". The cool thing about makeup, you can be as unique as you like😘
